Family Trees/Sources

SHACKFORD Family Trees

SHACKFORD family history is documented online in Ancestry.com trees, at FamilySearch.org’s Family Tree, and in many other online genealogy tools and online genealogy trees. Family Search has free access so if you do not want to pay for Ancestry or other online genealogy trees, it is the location I recommend you use to research and document your SHACKFORD family tree.

I would consider all the posted trees as works in progress and recommend you check sources to verify and validate any posted information.  As I work on a blog for a specific person, I review and add sources to the Ancestry Tree I manage (the SHACKFORD/PARKES Family Tree), FamilySearch Family Tree.  Although I often discover and correct errors in these trees when working on a specific person, I may also miss or not have access to other facts related to that person.

I “WATCH” the Shackfords in FamilySearch Family Tree and often collaborate with others making updates on the SHACKFORD families.  Also when I write an article about a particular person I may reach out to others who I see have made changes on FamilySearch Family Tree or on Ancestry.

My personal SHACKFORD genealogy research is kept in RootsMagic 7.  I share historical research (not information about living individuals) with those interested in researching their family lines.

If you would like to be linked to the ancestry.com genealogy tree that I maintain in Ancestry, please contact me via the Contact Me! link.   Also if you find any errors in any tree that reflects the user SearchShack as having made updates, please let me know.
